Our staff mix is the ultimate test of any chew. We got the thick hide cut and not only has it lasted multiple sessions, but it is his favorite of any treat chew or toy we have gotten. We’ve also definitely noticed that the hair does act as a sort of binding agent and his BMs have been more pleasant for everyone involved. Will be continuing to repurchase to years to come!
My German Shepard husky loved the hair on rawhide rolls, she ate half and buried the other half in the back yard to save for later haha
My 8 lb chihuahua, Rocket was a bit confused and a little skeptical at first, but he eventually figured out it was a treat. I know this because the little weirdo did what he does with literally every high value item of his: he buried it in 70 different spots before actually chewing it.
I don't know his motives, I don't understand his methods, all I know is he goes full Super Secret Agent mode with his favorite things. Safe to say Ugly Chews are officially in his tactical rotation.
I could spend hours watching him march around with one of these in his mouth, frantically trying to find his 13th hiding spot in 10 minutes (which he HATES me watching, by the way). That said, it’s going to take me a minute to stop shrieking every time I roll over and find a hard, hairy piece of cow under my sheets. At least it's not a giant spider, but still...these might have to become an outdoor only treat just to save my heart.
My only real issue, which isn't even the company's fault, is that this MF ESPECIALLY loves burying them in my garden beds. I'm assuming it's to...soften things up? It's repulsive to me, but clearly 10/10 enticing for him, so whatever.
Five stars. They’re ugly, indestructible, and give my tiny man a deep sense of daily purpose.

My dog loves both the rolls and the chips, but if he could only have one he would choose the chips. He isn’t a heavy chewer and I think the chips are just a little easier for him. I have tried a lot of chews for him but these are his favorite. For reference he is around 45 pounds and I felt comfortable with him having every chip in the box.
I bought these as I’m trying to ensure not only I’m getting real and natural food/products, but my dog as well. I am pleasantly surprised, I thought the chews would be a little smellier and unsettling to look at but honestly it hasn’t been a problem at all and my dog is obsessed! I give her one towards the end of the day and let her chew for about 15-20 minutes and then take it away and put it back in the box with the rest of the order I have remaining. It re-dries and I repeat daily!
My dog is a pretty strong chewer, about 45 lbs and it takes her about 2-3 days per large chew.

I give these to my 4-month old Brittany and he loves the hair and texture. Takes him a couple weeks to go through one.

My pup ABSOLUTELY LOVES THESE he goes nuts over them. I love them too due to the fact they are natural and he doesn't have tummy problems with them I 1000000% will be buying more but in a bigger size hes an aggressive chewer. if 20 outta 20 was an option id absolutely give it🙌🏽

I have a super chewer who destroys toys and chews, this lasted several chew sessions and he absolutely loves it. He goes bonkers when I give it to him. He's a Dane Malinois mix so he knows chewing!! Loved it so much I subscribed
Shipley loves these and has loved them ever since he was a puppy. They are a life saver when I need a break from entertaining my very energetic bernedoodle, like during a meeting or when we are at a brewery with friends. I love that they are made out of great ingredients too because he has a pretty sensitive tummy. I can't say enough good things about Ugly Chews and I recommend them to all our friends! Amazing plus is that this will last him 10+ hours of chewing!! Great value for the price considering the quality and how long it lasts. Thank you Ugly Chews please never stop making these!! Keeps her busy for a couple of hours. She will bark with the chew in her mouth. Taking it away from her is a battle.
These are my new favorite chews to give to my dogs. I have an aussie boxer mix and a german shepherd (both big boys) and they really love them. The only thing to note is if your dog tends to finish chews in one sitting, the large is probably too much, especially because these are tough and take them a while to get through. Both of my dogs won’t walk away from their chews until they finish them, so the small or medium is best for us. I’ll be buying many more!
My Dog absolutely loved them, I used them as a meal topper, he absolutely destroyed them.
My dog is used to raw bones and clean bully type sticks. He was totally iffy about the hair I think😆. Once he figured it out, he liked it.
I live in a small farmhouse on a 15 acre horse farm with two Old English Sheepdogs, two huskies, and one GSP. I never knew what real silence sounded like until I got them these treats. No one is provoking anybody. No one is chasing the cats. No one is chewing furniture or trying to jump out of a window. I wish I could give them all one every day- they absolutely love them. The only negative and it’s probably a specific problem to homes with more dogs- they each need one or everyone needs them taken away or else there will be disagreements.
Originally ordered the 12 inch rolls. Even though I have big dogs, it was too much. These are perfect for crate time, whenever people come into our home.
We always get the chews and love them. So we also wanted to try the freezedried treats. Well guess what, my rescue dog who HATES the car… now goes in the car since I used these treats to help pair the car with something positive. She’ll hop in without the treat now too! I have two BIG boys and they loved loved LOVED them ! It’s took them both a little to actually start chewing but once they did and realized the apparent deliciousness lol they went to TOWN ! I would deff recommend just keep in mind for bigger breeds or chewers .. they will go through them pretty fast !
All 6 of my dogs love them. I use them for training treats !
I was so excited to get these chews and when they showed up yesterday I immediately gave my dogs each one, but unfortunately they didn’t last as long as I thought they would, I was hoping for a couple days to a week but my one dog finished the entire large chew in about 3 hours and my other dog only finished about a third of his, which I will have to toss the rest of due to that fact that today they are both having diarrhea ,so unfortunately these are gonna have to be a no for me , as well id say if you have a dog with a sensation stomach I’m not sure I’d recommend getting them these
